As a Direct Primary Care practice, we only accept a limited number of patients. We have fewer patients so we can provide top-of-the-line care to each and every patient. Once you become a member of Joy Family Health, it will be like having a doctor in the family without having to wash scrubs!

Urgent need? We can usually get you a same or next-day appointment, for no extra charge. We will work hard to keep you out of Urgent Care and the Emergency Room, saving you time, hassle and expense.
Extended time with the doctor
Appointments are typically 30 minutes but can go as long as 90. Whatever it takes to get you taken care of. Good healthcare takes time. You won’t feel rushed through an appointment and there’s never a question you won’t have time to ask.
Minor labs and procedures
For example, EKG, breathing treatments, PAP smears, minor suturing, cryotherapy, skin biopsy, and lesion removal are all included in your membership fee. If there is an extra charge for a service, such as a pathology lab fee, you will know exactly what it is before proceeding. Our members receive a discounted price for these special labs and procedures performed by another facility.
Medical Advocacy
Should you require hospitalization, we will work closely with your hospitalist to be your advocate and encourage the best outcome possible.

Coordination with specialists
If you require a consultant for specialty medical care, we will work closely with that specialist to be your advocate and ensure clear communication.
Greatly discounted medications
We dispense medications in-house, so we’re offering medications to you at wholesale prices. For nearly all medications, the price we offer is cheaper than your co-pay at a pharmacy. If you take chronic medications, the savings on medication might be greater than your entire membership fee.
Greatly discounted lab work
We’ve negotiated great deals with national labs to get your tests done on the cheap. You’ll be able to get your annual bloodwork done as well as any acute needs for significantly less than the traditional model.
Access to discounted radiology
You’ll be blown away by the prices we’ve negotiated for radiology services. We’re talking up to half off for an MRI. The average cost in the insurance world is $2600.
House calls?
We understand there may be times when making it into our office can be challenging and a home visit would be more beneficial… in these circumstances, our doctor will make every effort to come to you.
